cdl / Septic truck Driver needed
Have a bad attitude. We are looking for a dependable, clean cut, common sense kind of person. This person will be digging holes, pulling hoses, and help clean septic tanks. As time goes by, you will be put in your own truck to do them one your own once you learn how the process works. Must have CDL Class B or above. No tanker endorsements needed. This job will include digging up tanks and cleaning them. If they are to deep, we use a trackhoe. Not the cleanest or the easiest job in the world. So the smell of POOOOOO don't need to bother you.
Don't apply if:
*You don't have CDL Class B or above and have at least 1 year experience driving. A driving test will be given you get to the last interview.
*You don't have a clean driving record.
*If you have had a wreck or ticket in the past 2 years. My insurance won't let me hire you.
*If the smell of poop / septic bothers you.
*Can't handle the heat and cold weather.
*You have a habit of calling in sick.
*Have a habit of coming in late.
*Have a habit of quitting jobs because you don't like them without a notice.
*Need ever weekend off or need off early everyday.
*Think you are going to melt if you get rained on. And if it is raining, think you are going to get struck by lighting even though its not lighting. (AKA just want to go home because you are going to get wet).
*Have to many family problems and / or bringing your problems to work. I don't put up with that.
*Drink a lot (have alcohol on your breath of a morning. This one is a big no no) Automatic FIRED!!!!(I don't care you drinking at home when you are off, but having alcohol on your breath or still buzzed will not be tolerated)
*Don't have common sense. (May need to ask someone about this one. Sometimes you really don't know if you have it or not because you don't have common sense.)
*Dependable, hard working, and honest is a must.
*Have a bad attitude.
Basically I'm tired of dead beat / no common sense people who don't want to work and just there for a paycheck and have to many family problems. It amazes me of how many people out there just want to "get by" and not prosper in life. We all have problems but leave them at home.
You will be on call every other weekend so living close to Cookeville will help. You will also be in charge of keeping the inside of your truck clean at all times.
If you think you can pass this basic test, send me your resume to:
If you don't have a resume, MAKE ONE. Let me know you will put in the extra effort to apply for a job and not take a short cut and just list your work credentials! I had one guy put his "resume" on the back of a receipt from McDonald's. REALLY?
Oh, and you will have to pass a drug test and they are given at random.
P.S. Don't call my office and / or email just to ask "How much does it pay". This job starts off at $12.00 per hour, but raises depends on all the above, work ethic, and experience. And don't expect to start out at $15-$20 a hour. This is not a college degree kind-of job. All I need right now is someone to HELP on one of our trucks. Must prove yourself to me and the rest of the crew that you are worthy of being put in your own truck and then we will talk about a raise!!!
Thank you and I look forward to talking with you!!
